As our SEO Specialist, you’ll analyse, optimise, and create content that drives visibility and growth. Whether you’re new to SEO or already familiar with the basics, we’ll train you on the latest tools and strategies so you can help brands stay ahead of the curve.
Contract: Full-time (38 hours/week)
Location: Bruges, Belgium (hybrid: 2-3 days office)
Start date: As soon as possible
Languages: Dutch & English required, French is a plus
We’re a creative website agency based in Bruges. We design and build custom websites for startups and SMEs that need more than templates and generic solutions.
But design is only half the story. To help companies grow, we make sure their digital presence works; visually, technically, and strategically. We don’t do half measures, and we’re looking for someone who feels the same way.
SEO is both detail and big picture. You’ll dive into analytics, technical checks, and content, making websites perform better step by step. At the same time, you’ll keep an eye on trends and user behavior, turning insights into actions that matter.
Conduct technical SEO audits, fix crawl errors, improve site speed, implement schema markup, and optimize on-page elements for better rankings. You’ll dig into Google Search Console and find issues holding sites back.
Research keywords, write optimized service pages and blog posts, and develop content strategies that attract the right audience. You’ll balance search algorithms with human readers—both matter.
Monitor rankings, analyze traffic in Google Analytics and Search Console, and report what’s working (and what isn’t) to clients and the team. Data tells stories; you’ll learn to read them.
Identify link opportunities, conduct outreach campaigns, and develop relationships that result in quality backlinks. No spam, no shortcuts, just smart strategy.
Keep up with SEO trends, Google updates, and industry best practices. Test new strategies and share findings with the team. SEO evolves constantly; you’ll evolve with it.
Work closely with the team to ensure SEO is built into websites from the start, not bolted on afterwards. You’ll bridge the gap between design, development, and search performance.
You love digging into data, finding patterns, and understanding why things work (or don’t). Numbers don’t intimidate you, they excite you.
You notice when meta descriptions are too long, but you also know when perfectionism wastes time. You prioritize what matters.
You can explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical clients. You write clearly, whether it’s an email, report, or blog post.
You don’t need hand-holding. You identify problems, research solutions, and implement fixes without waiting for permission.
SEO isn’t black and white. You’re okay with testing, iterating, and learning from what doesn’t work.
We value curiosity and drive over guru credentials. If you’re eager to learn and willing to put in the work, we’ll teach you the rest.
Access to premium SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush), training budget for courses and certifications, and mentorship from experienced team members. We’ll invest in you so you can invest in our clients.
You’ll work on actual client projects from day one, not just internal tasks. Your work directly impacts client revenue and growth. You’ll see results.
Hybrid work (2-3 days in our Bruges office, rest remote), flexible hours within reason, and trust that you’ll manage your time like an adult.
Direct access to founders, no corporate bureaucracy, your ideas actually get implemented, and you see the impact of your work immediately. No endless approval chains.
Office in Bruges with decent coffee and a team that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
