As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll craft interfaces that balance beauty with performance. From wireframes to polished visuals, you’ll turn ideas into intuitive experiences that help brands stand out.
Contract: Full-time (38 hours/week)
Location: Bruges, Belgium (hybrid: 2-3 days office)
Start date: As soon as possible
Languages: Dutch & English required, French is a plus
We’re a creative website agency based in Bruges. We craft custom websites for startups and SMEs, helping them grow through digital experiences that are both bold and functional.
Creativity and usability go hand in hand here, because design without purpose is just decoration. We don’t settle for “good enough”. Neither should you.
This is where you make the difference. As a UX/UI Website Designer, you’re at the core of our design and development process. You translate customer needs and user behavior into wireframes, mockups, and polished interfaces. Your work decides not just how a website looks, but how it feels to use.
Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that solve real problems. Map user journeys from first click to conversion, ensuring every interaction serves a purpose.
Design pixel-perfect screens in Figma—typography, color systems, spacing, components—that translate brand identity into functional interfaces. Your designs balance aesthetic appeal with usability.
Develop reusable component libraries that maintain consistency while enabling flexibility. Define design patterns that scale as products grow.
Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly. Partner with strategists to understand business goals. Present concepts to clients and defend design decisions.
Run usability tests, analyze user behavior, and gather feedback. Let data inform design decisions without killing creativity.
Refine designs through multiple rounds of feedback from clients, users, and the team. Separate ego from work and improve relentlessly.
Keep up with evolving design patterns, tools, and best practices. Know when to follow conventions (builds trust) and when to break them (creates differentiation).
You create beautiful interfaces but always ask “why?” before “how?” Aesthetics serve strategy, not the other way around.
You notice when elements are 2px misaligned. You care about typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy. Details aren’t minor, they’re everything.
You design for people, not portfolios. You consider accessibility, usability, and edge cases. Beautiful design that confuses users is failed design.
You explain design decisions clearly to non-designers. You present concepts confidently. You accept critique without defensiveness.
Figma is your primary workspace. You know shortcuts, components, auto-layout, and prototyping. Tools are second nature, not obstacles.
You don’t wait for detailed instructions. You identify problems, propose solutions, and execute independently.
Autonomy to explore solutions within strategic frameworks. We trust your design decisions and give you room to experiment.
Work on actual client websites immediately, not internal exercises. Your designs launch and impact real businesses.
Figma Organization account, premium plugins, font licenses, stock photo access, and design tool subscriptions. Whatever you need to work efficiently.
Regular design reviews, access to courses and conferences, and mentorship from senior designers. We invest in developing your skills.
Hybrid work (2-3 days in Bruges office, rest remote), flexible hours, and trust that you’ll manage your time professionally.
€2,800-4,000 gross/month depending on experience, plus performance bonuses tied to client satisfaction and project success.
Direct collaboration with founders, your ideas get implemented, no corporate bureaucracy, and you see your work’s impact immediately.
Office in Bruges with natural light, quality monitors, ergonomic setup, and a team that values craft.
